What you can expect to learn

24 Months | 4 Semesters

Semester 1

Learn foundational skills in computer programming and information technology.

You will also learn computer architecture, programming in C, and advanced database management systems.

Semester 2

In this second semester, you will build your skills to adapt to changes in technology through active practice in virtual labs.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take an advanced course in web technologies, data structures, computer networks, and operating structures.

Semester 3

This semester will strengthen your Java programming skills.

You will learn about the analysis and design of algorithms, probability and statistics, and advanced software engineering.

You also get to choose an elective and specialize in wireless and mobile communication, open-source DB systems, or cryptography and network security.

Semester 4

Your last semester will encourage the ability to put theoretical knowledge into practice through a project.

Apply the knowledge of mathematics and computing fundamentals to design and develop real-life applications.

In this semester, you can opt to specialize in trending areas like advanced web programming, cloud DB systems, or storage management.

Who Can Apply?

Indian students

Candidates from other streams like Science, Business Administration, Business Management, Arts & Humanities, Commerce, etc. must have a 10 + 2 + 3-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the AIU or other competent bodies, with Mathematics at the 10+2 level with a minimum 50% marks aggregate in graduation (45% for reserved categories). Such candidates need to attend and complete a Bridge Course in Fundamentals of Computer and IT along with their Semester 1 courses.
